SHIPPED · v1.41.0

Cron jobs, floating Agent Input, and terminal dictionary lookup

New

  • Manage your scheduled tasks without leaving 1DevTool — the Cron Jobs manager under Runtime lists the current user crontab and lets you add, edit, enable, disable, remove, and refresh jobs. Choose common presets or enter a cron expression, confirm it through a plain-English schedule, and pop the manager into its own window. Available on macOS and Linux; Windows points to Task Scheduler.

  • Detach the Agent Input composer and place it anywhere — drag its header around the workspace, resize it from any edge or corner, let it auto-float when a terminal pane is too narrow, and keep your preferred floating size between sessions.

  • Look up terminal text without switching apps — on macOS, select a word or phrase, choose Look Up, and read definitions from every active system dictionary in an in-app popover, with an option to continue in Dictionary.app.

Improved

  • Calmer software updates — updates can download quietly and install when you quit, with Settings → Updates controls for Pill, Dialog, or Silent notifications, automatic downloads, and check frequency.

  • Refreshed License & Upgrade experience — clearer Free vs Pro comparison, feature-specific upgrade prompts, and a StoicSoft suite bundle option.

Fixed

  • Fixed resuming an already-open session twice — desktop and Remote Control now focus the existing terminal and mark it Open.

  • Fixed clipped status-bar menus — Runtime tools, branch picker, and memory panel open reliably, with readable labels at full-screen sizes.
