Confuse chat

Summary: Messages sent from the terminal of an active chat are routed to a new chat session.

Steps to reproduce:

Open an existing chat conversation.

Type and send a command/message in its terminal.

Expected result: The message should appear within the current chat conversation.

Actual result: The message is sent to and displayed in a newly created chat session.
