Bug: Codex CLI agent input panel fails to copy and paste on macOS

Khang NguyenPosted

What is happening

Summary  Copy and paste actions do not work reliably in Codex CLI's agent input  panel on macOS. This blocks users from submitting prompts, logs, code  snippets, and error output.  ## Environment  - OS: macOS [26.5.2 (25F84)]  - Device: MacBook Pro M5 Pro  - 1DevTool version: Version 1.35.0  - Codex CLI version: v0.144.1  - Input method: Keyboard shortcuts (⌘C, ⌘V) and context menu  ## Steps that I use  1. Open 1DevTool on macOS.  2. Open Codex CLI with agent input panel.  3. Copy text from another app using ⌘C.  4. Focus agent input panel.  5. Paste text using ⌘V.  ## Actual Result  - ⌘V does paste copied text into agent input panel, but fail to send to agent after hit send button.  - No clear error message explains clipboard failure.
