Diagrams drawn from your code, offline store maps, and pixel sprites
New
A Diagram design type. Describe a system, or link your code and ask about it, and get an editable diagram laid out automatically. Choose Auto or one of 28 types, including flowchart, architecture, C4, sequence, ER, state, class, cloud, network, threat model, BPMN, Gantt, timeline, mind map, Sankey and Git graph, plus an overview or detailed level and a Paper, Ink, Blueprint, Sketch or Mono theme. The scene is stored as diagrams/<name>.diagram.json, and a diagram check reports crowding and structure problems before you export.
Diagrams grounded in your code. With a linked repo, each node and edge points at the file, symbol and lines it came from, and anything inferred is marked as an assumption. A drift check flags source that changed since the diagram was drawn. Local extractors read TypeScript and JavaScript, Prisma and SQL schemas, routes and Docker Compose. Nothing leaves your machine. Git-history extraction is not available yet.
Edit diagrams in the preview. Pan, zoom, rename, pin nodes by dragging, collapse groups, follow a path, step through a flow or sequence, and review saved versions. A resizable inspector shows each node's details and source. Manual placement survives re-layout.
A database workspace for ER diagrams. Edit a live DBML schema and watch the canvas update. Import SQL (PostgreSQL or MySQL), Prisma, Rails schema.rb or Django models, keep named views, detail levels, groups and sticky notes, and export DBML or SQL.
Import and export diagrams. Bring in Mermaid, D2, PlantUML, DBML, SQL, Prisma, OpenAPI or an outline, or hand the agent a whiteboard photo to redraw. Export SVG, PNG, PDF, Mermaid, D2, PlantUML, draw.io, Excalidraw, DBML, SQL, Markdown or a ZIP. Imports keep the original text and mark what they could not verify. Unsupported syntax is refused with its line number instead of being guessed at. The draw.io, Excalidraw and other editable exports have not been opened in those editors yet, specialist types such as BPMN and Sankey export as simplified shapes, and the whiteboard redraw has not been verified with a real agent.
Cloud and network icons. Cloud, network and threat-model diagrams include bundled AWS, Azure and Google Cloud icon sets and device symbols, with provider-aware regions, networks and trust boundaries. Everything is offline and self-contained.
A Map design type. Paste a list of locations and describe the look to get a branded store locator with a searchable list, near me, popups, category filters, light and dark themes, and embed code. The finished embed runs offline with no tiles or API keys. Pick a Muted, Paper, Brand, Mono, Night or Minimal base map, and export HTML, PNG or a ZIP.
Street-level city maps. City and store maps include OpenStreetMap streets, downloaded once when the map is built and bundled into the embed, so it still runs offline. Only the map's bounding box is sent, never your location list. A failed download keeps the previous base map. Country and continent maps use the bundled Natural Earth coastline and need no network. Zoom with the mouse wheel or trackpad, and a local map stays within its coverage when you zoom out or pan.
Map data you can trust. Every row of your list is imported, merged or rejected with a reason. Coordinates come from your data, a manual placement or opt-in geocoding, and are never invented. Locations outside the region you declare, pins in water, and name or address mismatches are reported. The map check also covers contrast, keyboard access, tap targets, overlapping pins, fonts and a blank base map at 375, 768 and 1280 px.
A Pixel Sprite design type. Make characters, creatures, items, icons, tiles, effects and UI pieces as indexed pixel art. Choose the asset type, canvas size, palette and outline style on Home. The agent draws through pixel operations, not by writing image files, and the result opens in a built-in pixel editor with a timeline, onion skin, a 1× preview, layers, tags, slices, palette ramps and Aseprite default keys. Your strokes and the agent's runs share one undo history.
Prompt-first sprite editing. Ask for a change and the agent draws it on a proposal layer you accept, reject or accept by region. Ask for animation, directions, variants, states, tilesets, cleanup or a style match, compare takes side by side, and lock what must not change. Sprite checks flag readability, silhouette, palette, outline, animation and export problems on the pixels involved. Import .aseprite files or PNGs and conform them to your palette.
Sprite exports for games. Export an indexed PNG, a sprite sheet with Aseprite-compatible JSON, GIF, APNG or WebP previews (one per animation tag if you want), Godot SpriteFrames, a .gpl or .hex palette, a tileset with metadata, or a project ZIP. Export is blocked while an export check fails. Bundled palettes include StoicSoft 4, 16, 32 and 64, plus Sweetie 16, Endesga 32 and Resurrect 64 with their authors credited.
Ranked banner variants for social designs. Single posts, banners, OG images, thumbnails, ads and App Store screenshots now come from a layout engine. The agent picks a layout, color treatment, font pair and copy, and the engine composes, checks and scores each variant. A tray shows the best three or four with their scores and any warnings. Choose Use this, More like this, Shuffle colors, Resize to other formats, Edit or Export.
Token-based banner editing. Edit a variant's text, type size, column span, spacing, alignment, color treatment and font pair from fixed design-token choices. An edit that breaks a check shows a warning beside the slot it affects but is still allowed.
Reveal an MCP credential again. Settings → MCP access keeps each new connection's token in this app's data, readable only by your user account. Reveal token shows it and its setup snippet again, and each reveal is logged. Connections created before this release must be rotated once before their token can be revealed.
Improved
Code viewer opens at the referenced line. Opening a source file from a diagram scrolls to the line that the node or edge cites.
MCP clients no longer need the app open. When 1DesignTool isn't running, a connected client starts it in the background with no window or Dock icon. The background copy quits after 15 idle minutes, becomes a normal session when you open the app, and stops when external access is turned off.
Faster turns. The design kit is copied into a project only when it has changed, not before every turn. Unchanged design checks reuse their last result, so the check after each turn returns quickly.
