SHIPPED · v1.19.0

Zoom the preview from 25% to 400%, and the build card draws the plan first

New

  • StoicSoft bundle keys activate 1DesignTool. A key from a StoicSoft bundle starts with SS- and goes in the same key field; it turns on 1DesignTool Pro along with every other app in the bundle. Lemon Squeezy keys work as before.

  • The License tab shows what your key covers. Settings → License names the bundle your key comes with, such as "StoicSoft Complete", and a new StoicSoft card shows the bundles that include 1DesignTool, the discount on your next StoicSoft app, the other apps your key already covers, a way to add devices, and a link to the StoicSoft app. Close it with × to shrink it to one line.

  • Zoom the live preview the way you zoom anything else. The preview's zoom control is now −, a percentage and +, stepping from 25% to 400% instead of three fixed stops. Pinch on a trackpad, Ctrl-scroll, or press ⌘/Ctrl +, − and 0, even with focus inside the design. On a device frame a pinch keeps the spot under the pointer in place. Click the percentage to return to 100%. Designs that zoom their own view, such as a map, keep the gesture for themselves.

  • "Design so far" starts with the plan. As soon as the agent saves its design plan, the build card draws it in the design's own tokens: the real headline and primary action, the sections in order, the one bold moment and the agent's sketch of the first screen. A sample screen in each theme follows, then the palette, type and components. The card grows to fit, so a long plan reads top to bottom without a second scrollbar.

Improved

  • Check status picks up plan changes. Checking your license now also refreshes the plan name and device limit, so a bundle or a device upgrade shows up without activating the key again.

  • An open-ended MCP prompt to start from. "Try asking your agent" now leads with "Use 1designtool MCP to read … to", a sentence you finish with your own task.

Fixed

  • "Design so far" and the Sketch canvas are styled in the desktop app. In the installed app both rendered as unstyled plain text, because the app's security policy refused their styles. They now look as designed.

  • MCP credentials can be created before you have any projects. On a machine with no projects, Create credential stayed disabled with no reason given. It now works when the credential includes projects you create later or uses Create designs, and otherwise says why the button is disabled. The new credential card also scrolls into view, so the token and install snippets no longer appear off-screen on shorter windows.

  • Next stays on screen in the first-run guide. The agent step lists every supported CLI, which pushed Next and Back below the fold on a normal window and made the guide look stuck. The buttons are now pinned to the bottom of the window.

  • The app names the OS it is actually on. The agent picker said "ready on this Mac" over Windows paths, project rows offered "Reveal in Finder" on Explorer, and every shortcut hint was written with ⌘ and ⌥. Those labels now follow the host: "this PC" / "Show in Explorer" / "Ctrl+Shift+Enter" on Windows, "this machine" / "Show in file manager" on Linux. The shortcuts themselves already worked with Ctrl; only the words were wrong.

  • A new website no longer shows the template's placeholder page while the first build runs. The kit starter ("Meridian Marking Co.") is scaffolding, and the agent's first minutes go to the design kit's CSS, tokens and new stylesheets, none of which change that page. The preview used to treat any of those writes as "the agent has started" and put the placeholder on stage for minutes over a brief like "a pet marketplace". The stage now keeps the build card up until the agent rewrites the main page itself, and the card says so in plain words: the page is still the template's placeholder, not your design, and stays hidden until it is rewritten. Editor templates (sprite, character, 3D part, diagram, map) are unchanged: their main page is the editor, so any design file still counts.
