Stage and Score

A new 3D Mockup section sits under Screenshot — drop in a PNG, JPEG or WebP, a short MP4 or MOV, or a shot from your Screenshot library, then stand it in a device. The original stays yours; this project keeps its own copy. Clips play on the glass, silently, and hold their last frame if the animation runs longer than the file. A device that does not fit the picture's shape is hidden with a sentence, rather than stretched

Nineteen unbranded models across laptops, monitors, phones, tablets, a browser and an app window, searchable by name and filterable by Laptops, Monitors, Phones, Tablets and Windows. Pick a finish — Graphite, Silver, Midnight, Starlight — or switch on Clay for a matte body that recedes so the UI stays the hero. On a laptop, open and close the lid; the angle is stored in the selected keyframe and a lid lane on the timeline shows the motion

Drag the stage to orbit, or type Turn, Tilt, Lean, Size and position. Press Keyframe (or K) at the playhead, drag keys along the camera track, and ease to the next one with Smooth, Linear or a jump cut. Space plays; the last pose holds for the duration you set

Light the chassis, not the screen — Studio, Window or Warm reflections, plus glare, contact shadow and a floor reflection. Your original colours on the glass stay as they were

Save a film — the look and the camera move, without the screenshot baked in. Apply it from Scene in the recording editor and that take's own picture lands on the glass; masks, cuts, sound and pointer settings stay with the recording, and Apply is one undo step. A film that does not fit this recording's shape is refused, not stretched. Share a film as JSON, or import one

Export a PNG snapshot or a silent MP4 — 16:9, 9:16, 1:1 or 4:3, up to a 4K longest edge, at 24, 30 or 60 fps. PNG can carry a transparent background; MP4 is always opaque. Review the full source first, including a clip's ending: drag a solid mask over anything private and it is burned into the source pixels before the device is posed, never a blur, with no un-redact. Copying a PNG snapshot is gated the same way

A new Music Studio section — a score is notes this app performs on your machine, not a loop stapled under the film. Write it with no recording open, then wear it on any take. Six templates (Product sparkle, Quiet narration, Warm reveal, Kinetic, Night close, Epic open) plus a blank 30-second bed, each with a preview before you open one. Drafts save as you work, Save score mints a revision, and a recording keeps its own copy of the notes it applied

Author the bed — mood, key, tempo, intensity, sections, voices (Pad, Bass, Arp, Pulse, Shimmer, Air) and chords. Split at the playhead, drag section edges, drop riser / lift / resolve hits, lock it when it is done, undo, reshuffle the seed. Preview against a take, read-only, to hear the score fitted to that film's cuts with speech-ducking if the take has it

Apply from the recording editor too — Music → Scores. Fit to picture (recommended) keeps the chords and voices and places their changes on this film's cuts; As written keeps the authored times and says how many changes would land mid-shot. Volume and ducking stay as you set them on the recording

Start with your voice — hum, sing or chant a 2–15 second melody, pick Pop, Hip-hop, Rap, EDM or Acoustic, and generate an instrumental arrangement. The sample never leaves this machine, is never mixed into the result, and is discarded when you leave the editor; only the notes are saved. Rap produces a beat, without lyrics, and a saved melody can be rearranged into another genre without recording again

Pro unlocks Compose with AI (shape and mood words only — never the picture, the sound, or any step text, and never automatic) and the Epic and Night moods. The engine, the screen, Save, Apply, audition and the voice-to-instrumental path are free; a free install that picks a Pro mood still gets a score, clamped to a free mood, with a warning

A tour that walks you through the app — six chapters you can work, not a slide deck: everything happens on this machine, the four ways to record and what each one promises, the review gate, the guide written from what you did, the same recording as an editable video, and the one library it all lands in. Chapter three is a real gate — Next stays off until you have dragged a mask across the fake API key, with Mask it for me there from the keyboard, and Skip the tour always open

Three doors back into the tour — the empty library's See how it works, Settings → About → Take the tour, and Help → Take the Tour. It opens by itself the first time, after the analytics question; an unfinished walk resumes where it stopped and a finished one starts again

Laptop devices now carry a real keyboard — staggered, labeled keys, palm rests and a trackpad, in 3D Mockup and on a posed recording in the editor, so a shot from above the deck looks like a laptop instead of a slab with a screen
