Hold the Pose
New
One-click camera angles — Common angles in the pose panel holds Front, ¾ Left, ¾ Right, Side L, Side R, Back and Top; one tap poses the key at the playhead (between keys it adds one there), and the angle the pose is already on stays lit
Duplicate a key to hold a pose — ⌘D or Duplicate beside Keyframe copies the selected key to halfway down the gap to the next one, so the camera holds its pose and then keeps moving
Step between keys — Previous key and Next key sit beside Play, or press ↑ and ↓
Pose from the keyboard — ⌘+←/→ changes Turn and ⌘+↑/↓ changes Tilt in 5° steps (Shift for 1°), ⌘⌥+←/→ changes Lean, Alt+arrows pan, ←/→ scrub the playhead with Shift for one-second steps, and Home/End jump to the start and end. On Windows and Linux, Ctrl stands in for ⌘
Alt-drag snaps the orbit — hold Alt while dragging the stage and Turn and Tilt click to 15° stops; the stage hint reads Drag to orbit · Alt snaps
Split easing — Ease to next key now offers Smooth — in & out, Ease in — slow start, Ease out — soft landing, Linear and Jump cut. Ease in on one key and out on the next and the camera never stops mid-move; the panel shows the seconds to the next key, and the last key says it has no ease because its pose holds to the end
Jump cuts read differently — a Jump cut key is a square on the timeline instead of a diamond
Improved
Sharper face bubbles — the camera is cropped to the bubble before it is scaled down, so hair and fine lines stop shimmering in the preview and in the exported file
The export sheet always names where the file lands — with no destination picked, the footer shows a file in Downloads (name-2, name-3 if the name is taken) and Export writes straight to it without asking again
A progress bar on the app's icon — exporting a guide as a video shows its progress under the Dock icon on macOS or on the taskbar button on Windows, so you can work in another app while it renders
Exports prefer the machine's hardware H.264 encoder and favor fine screen detail, so small text stays crisper in the MP4 at the same file size
Fixed
Fixed frames freezing or the face camera jumping in an exported video — the export decodes the screen and camera on its own private copies, so a preview that keeps playing can no longer disturb the frames going into the file
Fixed a frame the recording couldn't reach being written anyway — the export now stops with “The recording did not finish seeking while rendering — the export was stopped.” instead of freezing the last good frame into the file
