Graphite
New
Graphite panels in both themes — the dark theme moves from pure black to a graphite ground with raised panels and recessed wells, and the light theme is rebuilt on the same three steps
One title bar on every screen — a breadcrumb names the recording and the screen you are on (Library › recording › Review & redact, or Settings › section), and pressing Library in it takes you back
A sidebar in two groups — Workspace (Library, Record, Screenshot) and Stages (3D Mockup, 3D World, Music Studio), with ⌘1–⌘6 printed beside each item and working as shortcuts (Ctrl+1–6 on Windows and Linux)
A status bar — whether the extension relay is listening, a reminder that nothing leaves this machine unless you export it, a running capture's Recording or Paused timer, and the app version
Media-bin tiles — at rest the grid shows each recording's picture and its state; the other actions come up over the picture when you point at a tile or select it
Edit video is always on the tile — every recording that still has its footage shows the Edit video button without hovering, with Review beside it as a steps icon
An inspector beside the library — select a recording or a guide to see its details and a four-step workflow — Record, Review & redact, Edit / Generate, Export — where each step says why it is still locked, plus the next thing to do
An empty library that teaches — before the first recording, Nothing recorded yet lists the three steps and offers Choose a capture source
Record lays out each source — every capture source states what it Produces, what it Captures and its Privacy scope, and the whole choice fits a 1440×900 window without scrolling
A filmstrip in the redaction review — the step list shows each frame's stored thumbnail, so a frame you masked shows up masked, and the gate's button says where it goes: Continue to generate
Edit video from the redaction review — the Review banner at the top now carries Edit video whatever step is open, or none, and opens the editor at that step's moment; a recording whose footage was deleted shows Video expired there instead
A video editor timeline with labelled tracks — named track headers, a colour per kind of lane, a labelled tool rail, and an hours:minutes:seconds:frames timecode at the export frame rate
Settings by section — a list down the side (Writing the guide, Browser extension, Redaction rules, Shortcuts, Harvest, Appearance, Licence, Tracking, About), each with a line saying what it holds
Improved
Mask ranges as buttons — each mask in the video editor's inspector has Start here, End here, This clip and Whole take under a Set range label, each saying what it will cover
Toasts stay out of the way — in the video editor, 3D Mockup and 3D World, a notification drops below the toolbar instead of covering Export
Licence state at a glance — the sidebar's licence row shows a filled Licensed chip on a Pro install
Fixed
Fixed guide MP4 exports failing partway through — a video export of a guide could stop a few hundred frames in with "The source image cannot be decoded"; every frame now reads reliably

The redesigned library with Workspace and Stages in the sidebar, recording tiles showing Review required and footage days left, and an inspector with the four-step workflow
The Record screen laying out four capture sources, each listing what it Produces, what it Captures and its Privacy scope
Review & redact with a filmstrip of six steps, a masked API key, and an Edit video button in the red Review banner
The video editor timeline with labelled tracks for Keys, Clips, Mic, System, Camera, Notes, Masks and Music, and an hours:minutes:seconds:frames timecode
