Prompt, edit, render: every film opens in the new Editor, with free preview drafts
New
Preview first. A new switch under the Home composer, on by default, drafts the film with text cards or slates and a scratch voice, so you get a playable cut with no render cost. Render the real thing from the Editor when you like it.
The Editor. Every production opens here, from Home, Compose, the rail's recent list or an MCP client. The timeline sits in the middle with Shots, Text, Voice, Music and SFX tracks, and the cut saves itself a moment after each edit. The left panel lists the production's Scenes, Cast, World and Assets. Drag a scene, or press Alt+↑ or Alt+↓, to reorder the cut. The shot inspector edits a shot's prompt, cast and take, and Render this shot shows its price before it runs. An agent box under the inspector shows the director's latest note and takes your change requests.
One check before anything spends. Render full video opens a sheet with the shots, the length, the cost and the expected time. For a preview draft you choose Quick or Full. Time estimates come from this computer's earlier runs, and a provider without a published rate shows who bills it instead of a guess.
Drafts for 3D and hybrid films. These productions now draft too, ending at an animatic of each shot's board under the voiced dialogue and the music, with no 3D render. The full pass then picks up at Shots with the story, look and cast already settled.
StoicSoft bundle keys. Settings › License now accepts the keys that start with SS-, which come with a StoicSoft bundle. One key unlocks every app in the bundle.
StoicSoft bundles and your loyalty discount in Settings › License. Free installs see the bundles that include 1VideoTool, with their prices and savings. With Pro you see the discount on your next StoicSoft app; a bundle key shows what it covers, the other apps it unlocks and how to add devices. Every view links to the StoicSoft desktop app.
Improved
The stages are folded away. Story, Cast & World, Storyboard and the other stage spaces now sit under Advanced in the rail, and the other studios under More tools. From the Editor, Storyboard, Cast & World and Story open as large windows over the cut, and a storyboard card's Open in timeline jumps to its shot.
Scene fixes run side by side. When a review sends several scenes back, the agent now repairs them at the same time instead of one after another.
Your plan name and device limit stay current. Checking your license now picks up a bundle name or a device upgrade added after you activated, without activating again.
Fixed
No console windows flashing on Windows. The tools the app runs in the background no longer open a terminal window each time, which happened dozens of times while a video rendered.
