Say what you want and get the right look, in pictures not slides
New
Say what you want, get the right look. Type a plain request and 1VideoTool picks the format and one of 30 styles for you: whiteboard, kinetic type, pixel game, paper cutout, scratchboard, glass keynote, isometric and more. It reads English and Vietnamese, uses the files you attach, and never picks a style it can't build. The home page shows the choice before you start, and you can always change it.
Videos with pictures, not slides. Every scene now has to show something, not just put words on screen. The director plans what each scene shows before writing the narration, and draws it: a loaf of bread, a Wi-Fi router, a yeast cell, a character. It draws from more than 5,000 line drawings and the built-in props, stroke by stroke, with a drawing hand. A video that is mostly text on a background is sent back instead of delivered.
Styles that look like themselves. Five new scene types, each built around its style: Whiteboard: one big board the camera pans across, real marker handwriting, and a hand that draws. Scratchboard: white lines scratched out of black. Kinetic type: letter-by-letter entrances and full-frame colour wipes. Pixel game: real pixel art with a pixel font, a HUD and chiptune. Glass keynote: a dark stage, frosted glass panels and your product's UI tilting into place.
Mix styles in one video. Ask for "a whiteboard explainer with a kinetic type intro" and the video mixes the two, keeping one accent colour and one caption style so it still reads as one film.
Handwriting that is really written. Whiteboard text is drawn with single-line marker fonts, pen stroke by pen stroke, including every Vietnamese mark.
Chiptune music and sounds. Pixel videos get their own looping chiptune beds and game sounds: coins, jumps, power-ups, level-ups.
More ways to animate drawings. Ink scenes can freeze on an impact (hit-stop), transition with wipes, iris and page turns, pin effects such as hearts or focus lines to a character, morph one painting into the next, and trace video with steady colour regions.
FFmpeg in one click. If FFmpeg is missing, the No FFmpeg badge offers Install FFmpeg for me. It downloads a checked copy of FFmpeg just for 1VideoTool, with no Homebrew, admin rights or Terminal needed. I have FFmpeg points the app at a copy you already have. Step-by-step instructions for Mac, Windows and Linux are there too, with a Check again button.
Improved
Every style follows its full guide. Palettes, frame rates and per-style checks now reach the drawings and the final video, and 24 more fonts are bundled for the styles that use them.
Checks that judge the picture. Each delivery reports how much of every scene is picture rather than text, flags scenes that stand still, and checks each style's signature look scene by scene. The reviewer has to back every verdict with what it saw.
Silent narration is caught. If you asked for a voiceover and the video has no audible voice, it does not pass.
Charts tell the truth. Stacked bars sit on their baseline, negative values show, and waffle and donut charts work. The checks now measure the drawn bars, not just their settings.
Lower memory use while rendering. Long vertical videos no longer use huge amounts of memory, and pixel-art scenes render faster.
Coding agents stay in their project. A directing agent run through OpenCode can no longer read files outside the video's own folder.
Fixed
Fixed a crash when a prompt contained Vietnamese text right after a hashtag, such as "#đêmnhạc".
Fixed "3D printer" in a prompt making a 3D film. Asking for 3D now needs to mean the look.
Fixed lengths like "1.5 min" or "30 giây" being misread, and "3 surprising facts" being taken as a 3-second video.
Fixed picking a different option at the brief step keeping the old format.
Fixed videos using glass effects failing to render.
Fixed the whole frame shifting to one corner when the beat camera bump was on.
Fixed whiteboard scenes failing when the narration ran shorter than planned.
Fixed two hands drawing at once on a whiteboard.
Fixed drawings covering the handwriting.
Fixed Continue switching a run to a different coding agent after the app restarted.
Fixed false "low contrast" and "still frame" warnings while text was being written or the camera was moving.
